9 Reason’s They Have Melted Fat Like This………

9 Reasons some people win when it comes to burning body fat……..

 

It doesn’t happen by chance………

 

There are a few people in this world who believe that when someone achieves something great that its because they are lucky.

 

I actually hate that…..almost as bad as saying, “oh its ok for him/her”……

 

That is BS!

I have actually heard that people said that about me completing my ironman a few weeks ago…….

 

I accept that though, people will always chase the player with the ball! Its happened in my business, so I am not surprised that some people make comments like this.

Well let me introduce you to three people who have been through a bit recently to get closer to their goal after that you see the images below I will give you 5 steps that you can take to get closer.

 

Ali- has melted 50% of her body fat round her waist. Now Ali has two jobs, one as a sports therapist and the other as an equine therapist, and I can honestly say she is one of the busiest people I know! I have actually been working with her to do less each week to help her move her health and actually her business further forward! She said to me that her size 10 jeans now fit brilliantly too 🙂

 

Why is Ali winning:

 

  1. She knew where she started.
  2. She asks great questions, she brings me things she has seen and read about and gets my opinion on them. That’s very smart by the way, never be afraid to ask your coach questions.
  3. She has told me what she wants, yep and that comment was “abs” and I believe 100% she will achieve.

Ben- Again has melted 50% of the fat he had round his middle in just over 6 weeks. He has actually 2 weeks ago become a first time dad. Ben has also recently set up his own business, he trims cows feet. This is a full on job, and he is a hard grafter and sometime leaves the house at 5:30am to get to the farm and works occasionally til 8pm.

 

Why is Ben winning:

 

  1. He knew where he started…..notice a pattern here……you cant manage what you don’t measure.
  2. He can see where he wants to be beyond the length of the initial programme. That is crucial by the way. I run 4 and 6 week programmes to help people get started, but the ones, like Ben, can see the bigger picture. This is about him being in awesome shape so that when his son wants to get rough and tumble with him in the garden, he doesn’t have a zombie dad that pulls a hamstring putting his welly boots on!
  3. He has committed to being a little bit better every day. He has done short 15-20 minute sessions on most days and whilst the last 2 weeks of his nutrition haven’t been as good as he likes, he has still made better decisions than he would have 2 months ago.

Jo- yep she gave birth 19 weeks ago! She has already returned back and bettered  where she was when she found out she was pregnant, just over a year ago! This lady is one of the most determined people I know……at 40 years old, she was told she was a “geriatric mum” (technical term) and would have been high risk had she not have been so fit. I tell you, I think she is fitter than most 20 year old mums in this country.  She also runs a business with her husband, which at times can be very stressful and she didn’t have the easiest of times leading up to the birth of her daughter.

 

Why is Jo winning:

 

  1. She knew where she started.
  2. She finds a way. When something matters enough, you will find a way. Her baby wakes at 5am, she feeds her, then puts her back to bed and trains from 5:30am to 6:30am most mornings, has breakfast and showers before starting all the chores of a mum, business owner and generally busy person, who wants to make the most of her time with her daughter.
  3. She knew that she wanted to get back into her clothes. That mattered to her, and she is working towards her next goal now. Yep, set yourself little challenges after you have achieved a big one.

So there we go, a few real life examples from people who have in the last 6-10 weeks taken huge action on what is important to them.

 

One thing I will say here, is that you can have the best nutrition plan, the best exercise programme but if your head is in the wrong place then its very difficult to feel anything other than you are tredding water!

 

Don’t just choose your goal based on what is considered socially acceptable or “normal”………and be prepared that people will make you feel awkward when you are moving towards your goal……normally because they aren’t prepared to make the same commitment as you.
